  • 1.  Patient Financing Solutions

    Hello,

     

    We are currently exploring possible vendors for patient financing solutions (ex. Health First Financial). I would appreciate any recommendations for a vendor partner including if they specialize in radiology.

     

    We have had inquiries from patients lately wanting to use Care Credit, which has a higher fee than traditional credit cards. Is anyone accepting Care Credit and, if so, has it been effective in increasing collections for patient due balances?

    We utilize Care Credit and a local banking source.  We have little activity in both.  Some patients do not bother applying thinking they will not qualify or simply do not want another credit card.  We have found few will take advantage of the "interest free" terms on Care Credit.  The fees are higher but the few that have applied, it was a smooth transaction process.
