One of our diagnostic radiology groups has been asked by an oncology group to begin doing their intrathecal chemotherapy injections. This group has done minimal IR previously and it has been many years since we coded for any oncology. I'm looking for guidance on what CPT codes as well as if there are any caveats for the radiologists to perform these versus oncologists (who have previously done their own).
