In this returning to the new normal phase of the post-COVID world, I was looking for peer feedback on how others are dealing with:
- attempts to bring employees back from furlough when the compensation they receive from Federal and state unemployment is higher than what their ordinary wages were;
- what incentives are being used to motivate employees to return to work now?
- In geographic areas where there are still restrictions on fully opening "non-essential" childcare service businesses, what measures are your companies taking to assist employees find resources that would allow them to come back to work?
- In the post-COVID surge in requests for imaging services, how are your companies dealing with backlogs or wait times due to low manpower, such as with call center response, scheduling or other "back office" functions? Are there any 3rd party solutions, like "live chat" or others that do not require immediate human interaction? If so, please let me know vendors and products you have had success with. I would be particularly interested if they easily integrate with Merge and EXA RIS.
- Are your companies seeing an increase in low-tech study requests because referring physicians have not yet fully opened their own offices? How are you addressing and what steps are taken to increase the demand for high tech studies?
